Nomina & Hope Series
The Nomina and Hope series form a powerful body of spiritual work created exclusively on raw Belgian linen using only palette knives. Both series embrace a bold, sculptural impasto technique, where thick layers of paint create rich, tactile surfaces that catch and reflect light with every movement.
While the Nomina series explores the eternal dialogue between black, white, silver, and gold through dynamic, gestural compositions, the Hope series radiates with luminous golds and bronzes, celebrating the emergence of light through raw matter. In both bodies of work, the natural, unprimed linen is intentionally revealed, grounding the paintings in humility and authenticity while allowing the metallic tones to shine with divine presence.
Together, these two series represent a profound spiritual practice — where raw materiality becomes a vehicle for transcendence, and every textured gesture becomes a silent prayer.
